i'm kind of forcing myself to blog now. and taking a break from geog at the same time. hmm. i suppose i shall recount yesterday. i actually tried to blog when i came home yesterday, and was half way through when i decide to bathe. after that, i didn't quite feel like blogging anymore. so i simply closed the window.
well, yesterday lao shi invited us to her house for lunch. first we had some really good pizza. then lao shi taught us how to la mian and began helping out. most of our efforts (especially mine) produced hilariously oddly-shaped noodles at first. but after a while, we got the hang of it(:. we threw the noodles into these large 2 pots containing the beef soup i think. the beef noodles smelt really good when it was finally done(:. i had two helpings.
then lao shi's cute little daughters brought out some photos for us to see. all of us were especially eager to see lao shi's wedding photos. actually it was more like those professional photo shoots done for the wedding. anyway, lao shi looked really pretty in those shots!
we left lao shi's house close to 4. i didn't expect to stay there that long actually, but nevermind.
hmm. the other major things that i happened since i last blogged are that
1. i bought my gown.
2. i pierced my ears.
3. i cut my hair.
4. i went for pb camp. THAT was fun! i loved every bit of it.
in other news, i'm really worried about handbells. i thought we would have a nice long intensive practice of saturday to ourselves for us to perfect our pieces. but NO! i just found out that our conductor is coming. gasp! she's probably going to direct a very long lecture at me when she hears our standard. and the funny thing is, the two songs that we're worst at are our syf pieces because we haven't touched them since... syf! which was 2 months ago. help!
